A common functionality for drawers is that they can be swiped out and in by using a gesture. FM also provides support to enable gestures in your app in a very easy way, and this is what this post is about.
You need to add a GestureManager component to your form, and then, assign it to the Touch.GestureManager property of the component you want to react to the gesture, in this case, to the Panel1 component we used for the content area.
After that, you enable the gestures you want to listen to and in the OnGesture event, you write the code to react to the specific gestures. So in the video I’m refactoring a bit the code I wrote for the drawer to be reused both for the gestures and when you click on the speed button at the top.
